Are You Looking at the Trees or the Open Spaces?

July 24, 2013

Getting out of my car this morning I saw a field with trees in it and I noticed it looked different to me than it did the day before: The day before I had seen many trees with little open space whereas today I saw wide open spaces with lush green grass with trees accenting it. I got to thinking about it and realized it is all about perspective. Why did my perspective change? I am not quite sure yet. But this I do know: for the rest of this week that little area will be my litmus test in the morning and, if necessary, serve as a perspective adjustor.

What is your perspective today? Are you looking at trees as obstacles or are you seeing the wide open spaces of opportunity?
