Pray for the Suffering Church

August 28, 2013

If you have watched any news lately you have seen the international church, more specifically the church in Egypt, is under attack – literally. Churches are being burned and believers are being killed. Many Christians flee to other countries for a hope of safety. Christians in Egypt are not alone. Despite the terror these Churches are carrying on with services as best as they can.

Over the past several years we have watched Christians throughout Asia, Africa, and the Middle East be targeted for persecution and even death. These churches are suffering for the cause of Christ. They are continuing on with their mission as the Body of Christ with boldness. Believers around the world need to continue to pray for these churches.

Spend time today reflecting on the suffering church and pray for them. They are living in the promise that this life is not the end.
