Check Out These Blogs!

October 30, 2013

This week I want to share two blogs with you. The first one I will share with you today is “Lost in Love, Wonder, and Praise” by Reverend David Romanik, and it can be found at http://fatherdrom.wordpress.com/. He is currently the Curate at the Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene, Texas. While I have not had the opportunity to hear him preach in person, his blogs summarize and reflect on his recent sermons. They are deep, insightful, and challenging – there is no fluff here.

The only downside to this blog is he only posts occasionally. While I can understand this probably is what fuels this blog with the depth it has, it can be disappointing as a reader because you end up waiting for the next flash of brilliance to appear. At times it can feel like you are waiting for the new season of your favorite television show to come on after the cliffhanger season finale. But when the new one appears, it is worth it.

The other blog I want to bring to your attention is written by a good friend of mine, Brett Stewart. He is a great youth pastor who is gifted at preaching and writing. He has been involved with this blog since its inception. He has launched his own blog which is part of his website, “Brett Stewart Ministries” (it can be found at http://www.brettstewart.org/).

While the blog portion of this site is just starting, he already has two posts up there for you to read and reflect on. His posts push the reader to reflection and then action. He also has a section where you can listen to his sermons. He is an amazing preacher whose sermons will hold your attention and challenge you to grow. Last, there is a place on the website to schedule him to preach, teach, lead worship, or other needs your church or ministry may have.

I would like to thank all my loyal readers for their support as Anafalz continues to grow and develop. Please give these bloggers a look and if you like them, pass them along to others. Last, I would like to invite each of my loyal readers to share Anafalz with their friends and family.

May blessings shower you and yours!
