Love Remains

November 1, 2013

“Love never ends.” 1 Cor. 13:8a (ESV)

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1 Cor. 13:13 (ESV)

Love is a verb, something we can theoretically choose to do, or not to do.

But our society has chosen to reassign it to be a noun, something to fall into or out of.

Here is the rub: when we surrender our lives to God through the risen Jesus Christ, we will have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. God loves us and His love is unending—no matter how we feel about ourselves or think of others. His love is the greatest love imaginable. Let’s learn to embrace his love and share his love with others.

As you reflect on God’s love for you, listen to “One Thing Remains” being sung by Brian Johnson and Bethel Worship in their “Loft Sessions” music release.
