Anytime, Anyplace

June 28, 2013

Many people are afraid to worship God, by singing, in public. They feel their voice is bad. Maybe they do not want others to see them truly open up and let loose. For whatever reason, they keep their worship inside.

I urge you to open up and sing! Psalm 95 speaks of making a joyful noise to the Lord. When I sing to The King, it is just that – a joyful noise. Somehow, God hears a beautiful sound. If you listen to individual voices in a church, it is usually joyful noises; but when you hear the whole church sing it is beautiful. Sing to the Lord day and night. Worship in song and dance. Do not hold back any longer, God did not hold back for you.

In this video you will see the Zac Brown Band singing an extended version of “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” in a gas station parking lot. They unloaded their instruments and played. Even a law enforcement officer placed his car in front of them to record it. They chose to worship right where they were. So, I challenge you to sing your praises to God wherever you feel stirred to sing.
